The Stars and Stripes brief came from a showcase that I was involved in with some other artists and crafters. American, Red, White and Blue, Stars and Stripes, all gave the inspiration for the main hero pattern, with it's striped blooms, striking leaves and shooting stars.

As with a lot of singular patterns, a collection was begging to be made, and 5 playful co-ordinates later, Stars and Stripes was born.

The red, mustard and navy colour palette packs a vibrant punch, and so the second colourway saw a cooler, more sophisticated set of hues.
