This 5 week watercolour course, is designed to get you familiar with the intricacies of watercolour, including brush techniques, colour mixing, paper choice, types of paint and much more. 
The course will include 4 x 90 minute sessions, followed by a final 2.5 hour session, all held on a Thursday evening over June and July 2023. 
The classes, to be held at The Mulberry Bush in Thatcham, will explore the use of watercolour using sketch book practice and will build to the creation of a unique final artwork for each student. 
The total cost of the course is £225 per person, and you will be expected to provide your own watercolour paint set, at least one or two brushes, and a watercolour sketchbook. You will receive a small list of equipment needed after sign up and I am on hand for any advice on what to purchase should you need it. This will ensure that by the end of the course, you are familiar with using your own equipment, however, there will be some different brushes and paints to experiment with, and large watercolour paper will be provided for your final artwork. 
A full course outline will be emailed to you approximately one month prior to the commencement of the course, and a class facebook group will be made available for anyone wishing to share work between classes, or ask any questions. 
Free parking is provided, as are tea/coffee refreshments. 
 
You may choose to pay a 25% booking deposit, 50% booking deposit, or the course fee in full.
*Any remaining balance payments will be required 2 weeks prior to the start of the course. Please note your booking deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation, but please get in touch if there are any issues with your attending the course as an online alternative may be provided.
